DETAILS

Think back to 1964 (if you were around, back then) to the first Mustang that was introduced to the public at the World’s Fair . . . Fastback, louvered quarter windows, V8 engine, dual exhaust and five-spoke chrome, steel wheels! W.ith great fanfare, Lee Iacoca introduced the Mustang to the world. Displaying all variations available for purchase, in various colors, cam-back and fastback, hardtop and convertible for all the world to see, and setting off one of the most notorious competitions between manufacturers.

To honor the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, Ford created a special edition, limited to 1964 units in Wimbeldon white (The color of the very first Mustang to leave the production line), with many of the same features as the original. Only now, the original pony car is outfitted with a 5.0L, fuel injected engine! And realistically, the 50th Anniversary version of the Mustang GT sports higher horsepower and torque, better handling, and comfort rarely found in the original.
